Well spring is finally here and it's about damn time. I've had enough with my seasonal depression and I'm ready to get a new, fresh start on to things. It's always good to pamper yourself to get you back to yourself and to do so, I did a few of my favorite things today. It included taking a nice bath, trying out a new hair mask (recipe at the bottom of this post), a mini facial, painted my nails my favorite shade of red, and lathered on my favorite lotion (baby lotion). It was nice to even catch up on the small things that I've missed out on doing such as taking photos, blogging, and reading magazines. What else have I been up to? My bloody noses are still ongoing, and it's leading me to believe that it's not as normal as I thought it was. It's actually quite scary. Also, I quit my job. I was simply unhappy there and thought it was time for something new. I didn't think it was worth being miserable there even though most of us don't like our jobs, I thought why wait? I had a lovely little few days off and got to bond with my sister and catch up with my grandma. I took a few scenery pictures from my car that I enjoyed and thought I would share.

Pretty cool right? Maybe I just find beauty in them. As for my hair mask, I got it from my Cosmo mag and I am never hesitant to try an at home recipe especially when I have all of the ingredients. And guess what? I'm in love! I'll definitely be trying it more often.
The ingredients include:
1/2 banana (to strengthen) or 1/2 avocado (to soften)
1 egg
1 tbsp each of coconut oil, olive oil and honey
1/4 cup of water
Mix it all together and apply to hair for 15 minutes. Comb through it as well, and it says to use a shower cap as well. I didn't and now I see why they say to use one. Try it out!
